AFA Vectors are committed to the community that has helped us get where we are today. We strive to pave the way for younger diverse students in our community.
Above, our fourth graders learn about fires and robots from Miski and Sevara. We left them with fire alarm safety pamphlets donated from our friends at the Gwinnett County Fire Department instructing them to check their fire alarms with their parents. After the students turn in the signed pamphlet, they receive official BEST Crossfire and AFA Vectors stickers.

Non-Robotics High School Student
"As a peer and outsider of the team, I have observed that BEST Robotics is a program that challenges students in a way that enables them to venture into scopes that they thought unimaginable whether it may be in terms of engineering and working hands-on with their invention or even the sheer work of compiling the steps needed to perfect their robot/project. I have seen the Al-Falah Academy robotics team spend countless hours working on their robot and combating any obstacles faced in a more innovative method than the latter. This team, in my opinion, either with victory or defeat, can go far in the long run and can view objects from an engineering perspective to take on the test of innovating highly successful products with any material available."

Al-Falah Academy Board Statement
"For the past several years Al-Falah Academy has been increasing our investment in STEM based resources in order to prepare our students for the changes we are seeing in the world. This year we are very excited about the addition of a BEST Robotics program to help challenge our students to innovate and solve problems which will help them grow and prepare them for college and a variety of careers. The students have really taken to the BEST Robotics program and have surpassed our expectations. The students have shown a passion and enthusiasm for the program that has impressed our staff and their fellow students. It has given them the opportunity to demonstrate their creativeness and diversity of ideas and talents while working as a team on real world challenges. Lessons that are so important to learn and practice at a young age. We are also excited to see how the wider Al-Falah community are engaged in supporting the program and how it has offered more opportunities for parent involvement. Through the BEST Robotics program our students have demonstrated the motto of Al-Falah of excellence and success no matter the outcome of the competition. GO VECTORS!!!"

Alex Griffin, Gwinnett County Fire Department
"My experience at your school was amazing. I found some very intelligent young people who seemed very interested in making the world safe through technology. They showed an interest in our fire engine and the tools we used to preserve life and property. They were very engaging and asked very good questions. We don't always deal with high school level kids but after meeting your class I feel we need to meet the needs of the older kids."
